All dressed up and waiting to go

Sunday we were running late and didn't make it to Sacrament. The kids were all fancy in their Sunday clothes so I decided to get a picture while we waited. We thought that it was funny that Valerie was holding Harrison's chin because he has a problem with not looking at the camera when I take a picture of him. We kept telling him to look at Mommy and this is how the picture turned out. What a good helper Valerie is about keeping her brother in line.

Cousins

Wednesday we went out to Mom and Dad's for pizza and swimming. Heather and Robert both came over as well so all the kids had fun playing together.

Reminiscing

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Indoor FUN!

This week for our ward playgroup we met at Pump It Up--inflatable party zone. The kids had a blast. Sorry, the pictures aren't too great, but you know how it is when kids are constantly moving!

Lydia going down the slide, she lived on this thing.

Harrison going down the slide, he liked it, but I think there were too many kids for his taste. He spent a lot of time in the other jump houses where there wasn't a big crowd.

He found this helmet in one of the jump houses and put it on himself, It took me a while to find him because I didn't recognize him with the helmet on.

Harrison playing Basketball in one of the jump houses. He told me that he scored some points under the basket, which I think means that he didn't get the ball through the hoop, but high enough that he thought he should earn some points.

And Valerie was fascinated with the carpet. She did want to be with the kids though, I caught her a couple times trying to climb a ramp or two.

Valerie's favorite places

Valerie is crawling pretty good now, I can still catch up to her if she is headed to a spot where I don't want her to be, but it is only a matter of days before she will be able to out crawl me or worse walk/run. No I am not exaggerating. Yesterday no matter how hard she tried and believe me she tried a lot, she could not pull herself to her feet. Today she can! She is a quick learner. Now that she is good at moving around these are her favorite places.

The stairs, she found these the other day and would not leave them

Under the coffee table (don't ask me why) We did have magazines under there, but she tore all those up, then we used the table to block the tree she was pulling leaves off. Now she gets under there and tries to sit up and hits her head every time.

The corner where the two couches meet. There is a lamp cord and baby monitor cord back there that she is fascinated with, don't worry I usually have a pillow there to block it. I only moved it for this picture.

and of course, Daddy's fish tank shelves that have these cool rocks and shells on them again this picture was staged, I usually keep her away from them. Look at that face, she knows she is doing a no no.

Harrison's smart mouth again

The Missionaries came over for dinner tonight and after we ate, they gave us a nice little lesson. When they were finished Darin says to Harrison, "Do you want to thank the Missionaries?" and Harrison responds with, "for what?"

Blast from the Past

Saturday night was my 10 year High School reunion, but unfortunately I was not able to attend. About a month ago when I first received the announcement of my High School reunion, I was inspired to find all my friends and reconnect with them. Long story short...Mission accomplished! Thanks to the Internet, and mostly blogs, I was able to find most of my really close friends from the great class of 98! and see what they were up to.

I had a great group of friends, the best! We were friends so long that I don't even remember when we all met each other. I loved growing up in Boulder City and I loved High School and I owe much of that to my best friends. I hope we keep in touch for a long long time.
Thanks for all the great memories,
Tiffany, Becky, April H., Allyson, and Jen

Happy 4th of July!

Can you believe that I didn't take one picture? It was such a busy weekend, but so much fun! Chad, Jenn, and Aidan came into town, so we had all the siblings under one roof again. Friday we went to Mom and Dad's and went swimming, then about 6:00 pm we went over to the church for a dinner with all the Morris' and Traasdahls'. It was so fun to see everyone. Grandpa and Grandma Tindall came over to watch the fireworks show which started at 9:00 pm. The kids loved it, even Valerie, we were worried that she might be a little scared, but she just sat on my lap and watched. Lydia said that the fireworks made her so happy, that if she was a dog, she would be wagging her tail. Everyone got a kick out of our kids and what they say. Chad said to Harrison how about I throw you into the pool and Harrison said, "That would be splendid". I don't know where they get this stuff! They sure keep us entertained. After the fireworks we got ready for bed, we had planned earlier to stay the night at Mom and Dad's because the traffic trying to get out of Boulder City is horrible after the fireworks show. So we had the whole family sleeping under one roof again. This morning when we woke up we had a big pancake breakfast and swam again in the afternoon, ate dinner and headed home. We had a great time. Thank you Mom and Dad for a great 4th of July. We hope you all had a great 4th too!

Valerie's Appointment

I took Valerie to the Doctor yesterday for a scheduled checkup. She weighs 20 lbs! I don't remember the numbers for height and head measurement because I was making a mental note of the 20 lbs since everyone has been asking and I haven't had an answer. Valerie would not take her eyes off the Doctor and was giving her dirty looks the whole time she was in the room. Then a nurse came in and gave Valerie the shots. She was so mad! she screamed and cried so loud. When I finally got her calmed down we went out to the hallway to check out. While standing at the counter a different nurse walked by us and Valerie started screaming and crying again. "I didn't do it" the nurse told her. Beware Valerie has a temper! I am glad that we don't have to get more shots until after she turns 1.
