Keeping up with his Siblings

Nicholas has been getting his arms under him like this for a few weeks now. He even rolled over once from his tummy to his back. I don't know why I am so surprised that he is this strong. He is the one who beat the nurse to it and broke my water with one kick! He isn't going to have any trouble at all keeping up with his siblings.

Congrats to Brad and Sydni

My brother got married this past weekend, it was a fun, family filled couple of days. Sydni picked red, black and white for her colors and when I told Lydia this she said she wanted to wear white, luckily she had a red dress too so I told her no, we are all wearing red. While driving to the temple we realized that this was the first time the kids had been up the the temple and when we pulled up Harrison said, "It's so beautiful!". At the reception Valerie cut in on Brad and Sydni's first dance as a married couple, but they were good sports and let her dance with them.

Nicholas 2 months old

It has been a rough couple months so we are glad to see them over. The first month Nicholas had a reaction the the laundry detergent and fabric softener which left him with a rash all over his face and neck. The second month a cold went through the entire family, each week two family members where sick and the last week the cold decided to hit me again, I guess it thought the first time I wasn't hit hard enough. Now that Nicholas' skin is cleared up and all family members are over the cold we are looking forward to getting things back to normal around here.

St. George

A couple of weeks ago we went up to St. George to spend the day with Great Grandma Pope.

Darin wanted to get a picture with the kids and the temple in the background and when I got home and put the pictures on the computer, I realized the kids showing off their personalities.

Harrison (goofball), Valerie (I will stand here for the picture, but I don't have to like it!), and Lydia (sweet as can be). It made me laugh, I just had to share.
