We made ornaments at Grandpa and Grandma Pope's after Thanksgiving

The kids did a great job with the tree, we are running out of room though.  

It might be time for a larger tree in a couple years.

Sadie even got in the Christmas spirit with a jingle bell tied to her collar.

First Snowman

A little small, but not bad for their first snowman.  Valerie and Nic quit before it was half done, so Lydia and Harrison finished it up.

Complete with coal eyes and buttons.  We didn't have a carrot so Lydia found a leaf.

Sadie loves to play in the snow too.

Valerie's Baptism

Valerie's 8th Bday

It is finally here!  She was so excited to turn 8 though she does have to wait til the end of the month to get baptized, she still had a great birthday celebration with lots of presents, pizza, cake and ice cream.  She also was president of her class this week and student of the week for all of 2nd grade.

Nic's First Day of Kindergarten

 He was so excited!  He has been counting down the days since last week when the other kids started school.  He had a hard time falling asleep last night because of his excitement.
