Although it was a busy weekend, I had a wonderful birthday. I was surrounded by family and friends all weekend, Darin surprised me with beautiful earrings and a movie, Saturday we celebrated my and Jenn's birthdays with Rainbow Chip cake, my Parents also surprised me with a large saucepan that I desperately needed, Chad and Jenn got me birthday cards and a gift card, we were able to get family pictures taken, and I received many birthday wishes from family and friends. What more could you ask for? I am truly blessed! Thank you everyone for making my birthday a great one.

General Conference, Spring Break, and Easter
SATURDAY- We all spent the night at Papa Morris' house so that we could enjoy breakfast and General Conference together. Valerie thought she was one of the big kids when she climbed on their bed and said, "Night, Night". She wasn't too happy when Lydia and Harrison took back over their beds and she was stuck in the portable crib.
TUESDAY- Chad, Jenn, and Aidan came into town and we all went to the park.
WEDNESDAY- We celebrated the birthdays of Chad, Harrison, and My Dad.

Spring Update
I recently registered Lydia and Harrison for school in the Fall. I can't believe that I am going to have 2 kids in school. I am not yet that busy mom that I hear of running kids here and there and I don't think it will hit for at least a few more years, but I did get a small taste of it in March with kids' birthday parties. Lydia and Harrison both had two birthday parties each to attend during two of the weeks in March, even two ended up on the same day. It was a little crazy with the four trips to Target to get the gifts (I can't manage my time good enough yet to buy all four gifts at once.) Not to mention Valerie has started a mommy phase where all she wants is me and every time she senses that I am going to leave the house she follows me around like a hawk!
This is Lydia's last day of school for awhile. Next week is spring break and then the next 3 1/2 weeks after that she has track break. She is excited, she told me yesterday that she hugged her teacher and said, "I'm going to miss you during track break". She is so full of love and kindness. I often see her saying something to her bus driver when she enters or exits the bus and when we go to the park she has a new best friend in less than 5 minutes.
Harrison turns 5 in a week and a half and doesn't show much emotion so I can't tell whether he excited to go to Kindergarten or not. I am curious to see how he does, he is so shy and it takes him awhile to warm up to people. He is such a sweet boy and often gets overlooked because he doesn't mind being in the background. I hope he makes some really good friends that can help him be a little bit more outgoing so he doesn't get left out.
Valerie will soon be able to go to nursery. Daddy is so excited for that day because he will no longer have to chase after her down the halls of church. She has become quite the little runner and she is fast! I have had to get pretty tricky with her lately. Before when I had to change her she would bring me a diaper and then take off running so I would have to get up off the floor and chase her and bring her back to the spot where I had everything all laid out to change her. Now I have to put my hands over my eyes until she gets close enough for me to grab her.
Pictures are coming soon, it is just the time thing again, I just have to find some! There will also be more posts this month, more activities and opportunities to take pictures.
