Christmas in St. George

The weekend before Christmas the whole Pope family met up in St. George and had so much fun together.

 It was great to see all the cousins together

It was so good to have everyone in the same place, we loved it.

Lydia's Award Assembly

Lydia received an Academic Excellence award today at school

Valerie is 5!

 She wanted a castle cake just like Lydia had so I had to go back through the scrapbook and look at how I had done Lydia's, it was for her 5th birthday as well.

We made her a Barbie house inspired by a Pinterest Pin,  I think it turned out pretty good.

 My Mom did the bed, it turned out so cute.  Thanks Mom!

She loved all her presents; She got a Barbie to go in her Barbie house, it looks like her.  She got a pillow pet, which she has been waiting her turn to get.  She got a glow pen tent that she saw on TV and said she wanted,  She got some money that she bought a Barbie movie with, and she got a cute purple outfit, she loves purple!  Thanks to everyone for making her birthday a special one.

Harrison received his Bobcat

He has been waiting to receive an award since he entered scouts back in April.  He was so excited that the day was finally here.  He also received his BB shooting belt loop, his swimming belt loop, and his first yellow bead toward his wolf badge.

Harrison attended his first Pack Meeting the other night and was welcomed into the Wolf Den.

Harrison's Birthday

 Lego desk that we made for Harrison to store his legos that he already had and the ones he got for his birthday, he can also use the top as a building station.

Our trip through California

Monday we drove to Santa Barbara and went to the zoo

 We don't know if he was supposed to have it, but he wasn't letting go of that lollypop.

Then, we went to one of the local beaches

 Nicholas didn't like the water.

 The kids loved running from the water.

Then we drove to Solvang

 Unfortunately the shops had already closed

 Tuesday we traveled to another beach

and went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium

then drove to Martinez

 We had lots of fun with Grandma and cousins

Thursday we traveled again, the kids were troopers

up to Burney

Friday we headed for Nevada, found a rest stop and had a picnic along with a snowball fight.  Saturday we finished our trip to home.  We had a great time.
